Our oceans and rivers do so much for us โ from stabilising our climate to sustaining livelihoods, supporting biodiversity, protecting our coastlines and so much more. Our waterways are central to our health, economies and communities. The ocean is my happiest place and a big reason I moved to Australia. But in recent years, serious water quality issues have been emerging across the country. In the wake of emergent signs of ecosystem decline I am launchingThe Water Guardians โ an investigative photojournalism project exploring the health of waterways across the Northern Rivers of New South Wales and amplifying the voices of those driving solutions.
Whale season is my favourite season of the year. Time spent with the whales is always incredibly special and something I feel is an absolute honour and privilege. These incredible creatures have had a wild and remarkable trajectory through history. And the humpback whales are undeniably one of Australiaโs most phenomenal conservation comeback stories.

The Olive Branch Series is a storytelling series honouring the wisdom, resilience and generosity of the Palestinian people - showing up for one another against the backdrop of senseless violence and destruction.
We firmly eject efforts to dehumanise Palestinians and recognise that our freedom is bound to theirs.
These stories highlight the humanity of Palestinians and those offering care and support in this time of crisis.
This series is brought to by The Heart Atlas and a humble, grassroots effort from volunteers across Australia, offering a small act of solidarity with Palestine by sharing stories and opportunities to bear witness and offer support. *side note it appears my account is possibly being shadow banned for speaking up about Gaza, so please like and share this post to get this series more visibility ๐
